The IY 9.98 Lady Day, helmed by Corrado Annis, has triumphed at the International Sailing Week, organized by the Yacht Club Adriaco in Trieste. With an impressive performance of four first-place finishes out of five races, Lady Day has showcased its extraordinary potential and the preparation of its talented crew. Among the crew members are promising young sailors: brothers Kim and Noè Magnani, two of the top 420 sailors in Italy, along with Margherita Annis, all aged between 16 and 19. Their competitive spirit and synergy on board played a crucial role in this remarkable achievement. Now, Lady Day is gearing up for the Barcolana, where Anna and Eugenia Schiavon, the Magnani brothers, Margherita Annis, and two other talented young women will join the crew, while Corrado Annis will take on the role of team manager. This new lineup promises to bring even more enthusiasm and determination as they prepare for this historic regatta. A commendable second place was secured by the sistership Take Five, helmed by Roberto Distefano, which also demonstrated great competitiveness with four second-place finishes, landing just behind Lady Day on the podium. Tra i membri dell’equipaggio spiccano i giovani e promettenti velisti: i fratelli Kim e Noè Magnani, tra i più forti atleti italiani nel 420, e Margherita Annis, tutti tra i 16 e i 19 anni. Il loro spirito competitivo e la sinergia a bordo hanno giocato un ruolo fondamentale in questo straordinario risultato.
Ora, Lady Day si sta preparando per la Barcolana, dove a bordo ci saranno Anna ed Eugenia Schiavon, i fratelli Magnani, Margherita Annis e altre due talentuose ragazze, mentre Corrado Annis assumerà il ruolo di team manager. Questo nuovo assetto promette di portare ancora più entusiasmo e determinazione per affrontare questa storica regata.
Un ottimo secondo posto è stato conquistato dalla sistership Take Five, armata da Roberto Distefano, che con quattro secondi posti ha dimostrato anch’essa grande competitività, piazzandosi sul secondo gradino del podio, subito dietro a Lady Day.
