Another week of triumphs for Italia Yachts, this time shining in Sorrento, on the racing grounds of the National Championship of the Medio e Basso Tirreno: nestled in the gulf framed by the silhouette of Vesuvius and the island of Capri. The series of races, part of the ORC Mediterranean Championship, will see our skippers engaged in the legendary Tre Golfi offshore race next Friday. The last day of the Championship was challenging due to the constant shifts in wind, demanding utmost concentration from the teams. Sugar 3, IY 11.98, Ott Kikkas owner, hardly leaves anything on the table and once again, alongside Matteo Ivaldi, Matteo Polli, Sandro Montefusco, and Saverio Cigliano, clinched victories in the last two races, securing the top spot in the overall standings of all classes and claiming the Group Racer trophy. In the Cruiser Racer A-B Group, the winner is Stefano Rusconi, aboard another Italia Yachts 11.98, To Be, which finished the series in the second overall position. On the second step of the class podium, we find Massimo Piparo, with the third IY 11.98 on the podium: Guardamago III.
