In the waves aboard Joshua IY 10.98, they had quite the blast during the Spring Championship Regatta at Circeo: three coastal races culminated in Giuseppe Gubbini, Piergiorgio Saviani, Francesco Mazzucco, and Alessandro Iannoni clinching the second spot on the podium. Hosted by the Circeo Yacht Sailing Club, the races unfolded along the routes Circeo – Sabaudia – Circeo, Circeo – Sperlonga – Circeo, and Circeo – Zannone – Circeo. But which of the three trials proved most thrilling? "Certainly the first one, where, thanks to the sustained and gusty wind, we reached a whopping 13.6 knots. Speed never experienced before. Naturally, we had a blast," says Giuseppe Gubbini. "In the subsequent two races, however, the wind was notably absent, and we struggled a bit, but still had a lot of fun and were happy to be out on the water." For Team Joshua, the next rendezvous is the 100 Miles of the Central Tyrrhenian on May 11th and 12th. Keep an eye out, as we'll be following closely!
