We bid farewell to the Genoa International Boat Show with the smile of those returning home after an intense week, filled with encounters, toasts, and unforgettable emotions. The atmosphere was lit up by the owners already part of the Italia Yachts family, as well as by those who, curious or smitten at first sight, came to get to know us better.

Stealing the spotlight was the brand-new IY 16.98, unveiled in a world premiere: the true star of the dock, yet without overshadowing her elegant sisters, the IY 14.98 and IY 12.98, moored gracefully alongside. No visitor could resist the allure of the new blue water, meticulously designed for those who dream of spending a year in the Mediterranean before crossing the Atlantic to settle overseas: a yacht crafted with care, built to sail far and without compromise.

Our stand, this year with a double front, perfectly conveyed the two souls of the Shipyard: on one side, sailing; on the other, a groundbreaking debut  the IY43 Veloce, Italia Yachts’ first motorboat, here showcased in its updated version with the new IPS engine.

We welcomed many friends who dropped by, as well as a growing number of international visitors throughout the Show. And, true to tradition, our social moments added sparkle to the event: this year with a lively “gin & tonic with music” in collaboration with Gin del Conero, and a celebratory toast with Montelvini bubbles, which elegantly crowned our presence in Genoa.

With Genoa, we wrapped up a September marathon that also saw us at the Newport Boat Show, where  despite not having any yachts on display – many enthusiasts approached the brand to learn more about the models. Soon after, the Cannes Yachting Festival closed on a high note, with sales, requests for quotations, and an increasingly international audience, boosted by a growing presence from Eastern Europe.

September, in short, has been a month of major milestones. Now we’re sailing with the wind at our back, ready to turn the enthusiasm gathered into new adventures at sea.
