Style, elegance, and innovation are the hallmarks of Italia Yachts, and once again they leave a lasting impression at the Boat Show. This year the shipyard stands out for its originality and forward-thinking spirit, welcoming visitors with the familiar warmth and genuine seafaring hospitality that have always distinguished the brand—whether for long-time friends or first-time admirers. Adding a sparkling note to the atmosphere will be Gin del Conero, an excellence from the Marche region, joining us on this new voyage.
In 2025, Italia Yachts unveils a major debut: the IY 16.98, a true blue water cruiser, displayed alongside the IY 12.98 and IY 14.98 for the sailing range, and the IY 43 Veloce now featuring the latest IPS propulsion for the power line. The latter, already acclaimed from the U.S. to the Philippines and a familiar presence along the Amalfi Coast and in prestigious international regattas, makes its Genoa debut powered by the IPS system with 2 x Volvo Penta IPS 650 480hp. The sailing scene takes center stage with the world premiere of the IY 16.98, enriching the fleet with a genuine ocean-going cruiser. Elegant in her lines, she stands out with a vertical transom housing a tender garage and a bow fitted with an integrated bowsprit: below deck everything is designed for long-range cruising, while above deck the focus is entirely on sailing performance. Every detail has been engineered to allow the owner to set sail even short-handed, with the yacht fully canvassed. Technologically advanced, innovative, and designed for extended stays at sea, she represents the new flagship of Italia Yachts, exhibited alongside her “sisterships” IY 14.98—beloved by those who combine cruising with racing—and the ever-versatile IY 12.98, increasingly in demand worldwide for its adaptability and dual soul as both racer and cruiser.
Every Italia Yachts hull is born from the same DNA: a distinctive design and perfectly balanced geometry for true all-round sailing.
